Apo Island

I know some of you don't like HDR-images, but I think sometimes it is definitely important to know this technique. As I took this picture, the sun was so bright behind the clouds, that a "single-shot" picture wouldn't be satisfying at all. The colours are often too weak, if you take a normal picture against the sunlight.

Anyway.. This is at Apo Island. It's a small island, famous for it's beautiful underwater world. There are only two resorts with a couple of divers and a village with about 700 locals, living a peasant life.
The water you see here is not the sea, but a small lake.
